The following is the West Coast weather forecast:- — Situation: An anti-cyclone extends from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand, and a series of depressions continues to pass in the south. < Forecast to 5 p.m. on Saturday:— Winds: Light to moderate and variable. Westerlies predominating in the afternoon. Weather: Fair, but cloud increasing during the day. Temperatures: Moderate. Further outlook: Gradual deterioration probable, with rain later.
