At a meeting of the Hokitika Swimming Club an offer by the social committee of the St. Mary’s Swimming Club to hold a social on Saturday evening at St. Mary’s Club Hall was accepted with thanks. A statement disclosed a profit of £9 6s for the paddling pool fund 'from the recent carnival. The baths were allocated to Hokitika District High School for their championships to be held on March 6 and 7.
