Master Duncan Campbell, who has been spending a short holiday with his parents has returned to Christchurch.

Mrs. Bateman of Dunollie is the guest of Mrs. W. Purdy, Dobson. Mrs. J. Ford of Christchurch, is visiting relatives at Dobson. Mr C. Broad, who has been visiting the district, has returned to Invercargill. Mr. A. J. Lewis of Dobson, is visiting Dunedin. Mrs. Clarke, Senr., of Dobson, and Mrs. T. Morgan, of Taylorville, who are inmates of the Grey River Hospital, are progressing favourably. Miss Enid Ramsay of the Christed to Taylorville. Under the auspices of the Brunner as the committee had made all held in the Stillwater Hall, proceeds being in aid of the local school. Mr. Kevin Creagh and Master G. Robb, who are patients in the Grey River Hospital, are making goodprogress. The Brunner Rugby League Club celebrated their annual banquet in the Taylorville Pavilion' on Saturday last.
