It is officially announced that the following three New Zealand airmen have been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for service in the European war theatre:— Wing-Commander John Dudley Nelson (mother, Mrs L. Nelcon, Wellington). Flying-Officer George Alexander Hughes Field (mother, Mrs D. A. Field, Wellington). Acting-Flying-Officer Dyrham Highet Strachan (mother, Mrs A. Strachan, Auckland). -
