MEAT BOARD ELECTIONS

WELLINGTON, Aug. 16.

, The returning ollicei’ announces the result of the election of delegates to represent the various districts on the electoral committee which meets in Wellington, on August 30 and 31, to consider the 22nd annual report and statement of accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, and to elect two producers’ representatives on the board. The full personnel of the electoral committee is as follows: — Auckland District: R. R. Blade (Ahuroa), A. R. Sandilands (Tokirima), F. N. Smith (Kiwitahi); Gis-i borne District: T. Le C. F’owdroll (Wairoa), S. D. Reeves (Gisborne). Hawke’s Bay District: C. R. Edgecombe (Waipukurau), J. Graham (Hastings), W. N. Russell (Dannevirke. West Coast District: D. G. Gordon (Taihape), W. Horpobin (Waikan.ae), L. Marfell (Stratford), H. D. Richardson (Feilding). Wairarapa District: J. Andrew (Masterton), A. McDonald (Hinakura). Marlborough, Nelson, Westland District: S. T. Richmond (Seddon). North .and Mid-Canterbury District: R. G. Gerard, M.P. (Rakaia), K. J. Hall (Hororata), J. L. Macfarlane (Waiau). South Canterbury District: H B. S. Johnstone (Olaio). Ot.ago District: J. Andres (Hyde), D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown), W. Malcolm (Oamaru). Southland District: E. A. Cameron (Riversdale), G. A. Hamilton (Lumsden), H. P. Mclntyre (Gore). In Wairarapa, North and Mid-Can-terbury, South Canterbury, Otago and Southland districts, delegates were elected unopposed, but elsewhere a postal ballot was conducted.
