WEDDING

ANDERSON—RARITY. The wedding of Kathleen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rarity, Blackball, to Cyril, only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Anderson, Christchurcn, was solemnised at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Gfeymouth on Saturday, by the Rev. W. S. Brettell. The bride was escorted by her father wore a model frock of powder blue. Her navy toque hat had a matching,- feather and circular veil, and she wore navy shoes and'gloves. She carried a bouquet of camelias and Spring flowers and maiden hair fern. The bride was attended by Miss Marjorie Anderson, of Cobden, who wore a grey model frock with navy accessories to tone. She also carried a bouquet of anemones and Spring flowers. Gunner J. Rarity, N.Z.A., brother of the bride, was best man. The reception was held at the residence of Mrs. M. Anderson, of Cooden where the bride’s mother received ’ the guests, wearing a navy ensemble. She wore a shoulder spiay of freesias and violets. She was assisted by the bridegroom’s mother, who also wore a navy ensemble and a shoulder spray of freesias and violets. When the newly-married couple leit by rail-car, the bride was wearing a teal frock and coat with accessories to tone. .
