(Our Own Correspondent]. ■Miss Eileen Hill, who has recently returned from overseas service, is shortly to enter Cashmere Hospital, Christchurch, for treatment. The Soldiers’ Reception Committee gratefully acknowledged receipt of £1 Is from Mrs. T. Walker and Miss M. Watson being proceeds from Dooson Learners' Dance. These dances are to be suspended for a month. The Coah Council consisting of Messrs Job Hughes and T Prendeville, met the executives of the Dobson and Wallsend Unions on -Monday. The Junior Red Cross examinations are being held at Taylorville this week. The questions have been prepared by Mrs. J. Quinn.
