The film comedian, Bob Hope, and his party, of entertainers arrived at S'ydnev on Tuesday afternoon, after an adventurous flight from the Solomons states a Sydney cablegram. The amphibian plane bringing the party from Brisbane was .forced down bv engine trouble, late yesterday, at Laurieton, 280 miles north of Sydney. With Hone are Hollywood stars, Frances Langford, Jerry Colonna, Patty Thomas, 'the guitarist,- Tony Romano Hundreds of people assembled outside Sydney Hotel to welcome Hope and his party.
