COBDEN TOURNAMENT. Boxing fans will be well ca t t ® r ?| for at the boxing tournament to oe held in the Cobden Gymnasium this evening. There are over 30 contests in which the best boys m the , dist a " will be participating. The lads. are taking their boxing very seuoiisly and reports from all gymnasium si dicate a decided improvement oia aaY previous performances. A tropny will be donated to most scientific performer. This in itself is sufficient inducement for the boys to give of their best, so boxing enthusiasts are asked to see that their efforts are rewarded by a full house. The referees are Messrs Kiely, Finlav and Muir. Buses will leave Greymouth before and return after the tournament. The iirst bout ' will commence at 7.45 p.m. sharp.
