FOR AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, July 4. The Australian wool cheque for 1943-44 was a record at £73,701,759, eclipsing the previous record of £73,553,991 made in 1942-43. Appraisments totalled 3,606,684 bales, compared with 3,501,457 in 1942-43.
