The “New York Times” correspondent says: Indications are mounting that Canada will have a general election in the autumn, almost coinciding with the United States elections. It is reported that both Government and the Opposition agree that it would be wise to hold an election in November, when the issue of the war will no longer remain doubtful, and electors can fairly indicate their desires regarding post-war policy.
