Two Young Children WELLINGTON TRAGEDY WELLINGTON, J’une 22. Two voung ■ children, son and daughter of Dr lan B. Ewart and Mrs Ewart, of Wellington, were burnt to death when fire destroyed their‘home at 18 Abel Smith. Street to-night. Mrs Ewart suffered burns and shock when she made a frantic attempt to rescue her children but wa! driven back by a sea. of flame which prevented her reaching them. Dr Ewart is serving in the Navy overseas. Mrs Ewart was taken to The fire broke out shortly before 10 o’clock with startling suddenness, and in a few seconds the top stoiey was ablaze from end to end.
