AIRCRAFT CRASHES INTO SEA.

P.A. WELLINGTON, June 20. Two members of the R.N.Z.A.F. are believed to have lost their lives when an aircraft; in which they were engaged on a training flight from a South Island Station crashed into the sea shortly after noon to-day. The personnel engaged on the flight were, Flying Officer Leslie Darcy Irwin (father. Mr. James Irwin, Paeroa), and Corporal Murray Alexander Gillon (wife, Mrs. G. G.'llon, Mosgiel).
