May 19 Battered about the head, and 'w th •Yl eat ™ r stra P ab °ut her neck and ! -ody, Mrs. Lois Rosamond Mill. ’39 was found under her bed at Bevhaven Station, 25 miles from Tok’omaru Bay late yesterday. When found by her husband, George M H v? lr . eadv dea d. and it is thought that life had been extinct for some hours. Two children, a boy aged 11 years, and a girl aged six, were playing outsiders if nothing had happened. Two other older children wore away at Gisborne. Half an hour after he returned to his house Mill went into a bedroom to get a towel, and then discovered the body.
