Jordan was not seeking re-election was passed at a meeting of the Buller County Council. [ The directors of the Westport Coal Company have declared an interim dividend of 6d a share, payable on May 17. The Westport Competitions Society’s Festival continued with further big attendances. The judges commented on the excellence of the performances.
