Miss Monic'a Joyce Lamont, an Auckland nurse, who has served m Syria, Egypt, Tripoli and Italy, was married at the King’s Chape, of the Savoy. London, last Saturday to Captain K A. H. Read, of Gerrard s Cross, Buckinghamshire, states a London cablegram. Captain Read served with the Eighth Army, was wounded in lobruk, and later took part in the Salerno landing. They met for the nifet time at the wedding of Captam F. Stewart of Wellington, and Nurse P. Lavin, in Syria. - ■
