(Rec 12.35) LONDON, May 11. According to a Reuter report, Polish patriots in a broadcast from Moscow on Wednesday night stated that officers and men in General Ander’s Polish Armv in the Middle East had been imprisoned for showing sympathy towards the So vieUnion. The patriots gave the names of several officers alleged to have been arrested. • The Polish President, M. Raczkiewicz, has cancelled, imprisonment sentences recently imposed on 30 Polish Jews by a Polish court-mar-tials in Scotland says a “Dailv Express’ diplomatic correspondent. The men are believed to have refused to accept release unless allowed to transfer to the British forces. It is unbkely that this conditions will be accepted. The prisoners pleaded before the court-martial that thev had deserted and tried to join the Bntisn forces because they were victimised on account of their race. The j sentences ranged from one to three years’ imprisonment. _
