STRONGMAN MINE
.STOPPAGE UNTIL NEXT WEEK. The Strongman State Mine, which was idle yesterday, will not work today or to-morrow (a back Saturday) as a result of the main roller bearing in the fan breaking during Wednesday night. The fan was marie in Australia, and no bearing similar to the one broken is. available to replace it. It is likelv that one will have to be procured from Austral a. In the meantime efforts are being made toobtain another type of bearing which may be used temporarily, but. if one cannot be obtained, an old fan will bo installed to enable the nine to resume work. However, this cannot b<) done in time to restart work this week, and it is yet doubtful if the mine will work on Monday.
