8.0.W. RUGBY, May I. In connection with the recent incidents in the Greek armed foices under the Middle East Command, Mr. Churchill has received a message from Mr. Roosevelt. According to a Cairo correspondent the message ran: “Thank you for the information regarding the recent difficulties encountered in Greek participation in our Allied effort. T ioin with you in We hope that your line of action towards the problem mav succeed in bringing the Greeks back into the Allied camp and to a participation against the barbarians that will be worthy of tiie tradition established bv the heroes of Greek history. Fi anklv. as ‘one who personally contributed help to Greek independence, over this, cenlurv. I am unhappy over the present situation and I hope that Greens everywhere will set aside pettiness and regain their sense of proportion. Let' every Greek think of his glorious past and show that personal unselfishness that is so necessary now.”
