A-Stockholm message stated: Professor Sakimura who has offered to help Britain and America to defeat Germany, is being hunted by the Japanese Black Dragon Society and the Gestapo. His pursuers are determined to prevent him passing , important information he holds about, weaknesses in German indus ay. When Sakimura bluffed his way out of Germany last year the Japanese Legation ait Stockholm put pressure on him to return to Berlin. An air ticket was thrust into his hands, ana he was threatened with violence, but a dav or two before he was due to leave for Berlin he contrived to have a skiing “accident.” . He entered the Swedish medical institute where he has since remained. He .told interviewers that the Japanese Tanaka creed was similar to Nazism. Japanese discipline is overwhelming in diplomacy as well as in the armed forces. I was not allowed to tell Tokio that Germany could not defeat the Allies. Criticism of that kind is regarded as an insult to the Japanese Ambassador at Berlin Mr._ Oshima. I believe such regimentation-is an insult to intelligence and contrary to the true interests .of Japan, Osnnncx - policy of blind allegiance to Germany is inexcusable on economic as well as moral grounds.” . The “Daily Mail” comments: “bakimura’s identity and credentials are beyond dispute, but the possibility of the Axis attempting to plant him on the Allies cannot be ruled out at this stage.”
