COL. KNOX’S FUNERAL

(Riec 9.20) WASHINGTON, May 1. Colonel Knox was buried at, Arlington National Cemetery after a military funeral wherein the casket, resting on 'an artillery caisson, drawn bv white horses, was followed by detachments of sailors an d marines hi eh military officers, diplomatic representatives and Government officials. Mr Roosevelt was represented by Mrs Roosevelt andtheir daughter, Mrs John Boettiger. The Navy held special services throughout the world with the exception of ships engaged against the enemy.
