Venturas, Dauntlesses, Corsairs, Mitchells and Hellcats dropped fortyeight tons of bombs on Japanese positions in -the Marshalls on Thurs(Rec. 11.20) WASHINGTON, April 29 Guam Island, 600 miles north-west of Truk, was bombed by United States Liberators last Monday, stated a Pacific Fleet communique.
