BLACKBALL BEATEN IN FRIENDLY GA|ME.
Though all fixtures in the West Coast Rugby League’s one-round competition were postponed yesterday, a friendly game was flayed between Blackball and Ngahere, at Blackball. This resulted in a surprise win for Ngahere, for Blackball, unbeaten here last season, appeared likely to maintain their record. Neither club fielded a complete but were evenly matched and open play with plenty of bach movements, was the order of J. day. Both sides scored three ti_ e , J. Dowell (2) and F.
