TRIAL OF EX-FASCISTS
For Opposing Mussolini SIX FORMER LEADERS CHARGED. (Rec. 8.50) "LONDON, Jan. 10. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Zurich correspondent reports: The trial began on Saturday of Count Ciano, the former Italian Foreign Minister; Marshal Debono, the former Su-I preme Commander of the Italian! Army; Signor Warinelli, a former director of the Fascist Party; Signor Gottardi, a former Italian Trade Union Chief; Signor Cianetti. former Minister of Fascist Corporations; and Pareschi, former Italian Minister of Agriculture. The opening stages of the trial have not been reported in the neoFascist press. TRIAL NOT STARTED. (Rec. 11,15.) LONDON, Jan. 10. Reuter’s Zurich correspondent says: The trial of Count Ciano and other members of the Fascist Grand . Council who voted against Mussolini : has been postponed, at the last moment. The defendants have been transferred from Verona to Cremona.
