SUNDAY BUSES
CURTAILED AT AUCKLAND. P.A. AUCKLAND. Jan. 9. With the bus drivers rigidly adhering to their decision, which was endorsed at a general meeting of the Auckland Drivers’ Union —not to operate normal services on Sundays, the genera] public were without bus travelling facilities in Auckland today. In terms of their resolution to refrain from running services until the proprietors granted them wage and time concessions, the drivers operated a limited service for about two hours this morning from 7 to 9 o'clock, and again in the evening from 4 to 6 o’clock. No official developments have been reported to-night in the dispute between the drivers and bus operators.
