TEN JAP SHIPS SUNK
BY. U.S.A. SUBMARINES. (Rec. 7.55) WASHINGTON, Jan. 8. The U.S. Navy, in a communique, stated that United States submarines have sunk ten more enemy ships in the Pacific i nthe Far East. The communique lists them’as follows: A large freighter, a medium-sized transport, a large tanker, five medium freighters, two small freighters.
