ARGENTINE PRESS CONTROL
BUENOS AIRES, Jan. 6. The Argentine Government, in a decree, imposes drastic control over the Argentine press and over foreign correspondents. It nrohibits publication of news or comment deemed contrary to the national interest. It makes the publication of Governmental communiques and information obligatory, and authorises the Government to withdraw from circulation any publication violating the decree.
