DISSOLVES PARTY'S MILITIA. (Rec. 9.15) LONDON, Dec. 21. The “Daily Mail’s” Madrid correspondent states: General Franco in a speech at a meeting of the Provincial Falangist Party chiefs, announced a decree dissolving the Falangist Militia. General Franco said that the Militia was no longer necessary since both the Army and the Falange were firmly, established. The correspondent says: '“This is one of a series of decrees amounting to a purge of the Falangist Party. General Franco stated that various Falangist institutions would be revised so as to decide whether their continuance was necessary for the normal development of Spanish life. An American Associated Press correspondent earlier ■, plated: Elements, the most active being proMonarchist, persist in efforts to overthrow Franco. Despite their failures, informed quarters in Washington believe the Monarchists have delayed too long. The most likely development is an army coup d’etat.
