The “Daily Mail’s” aeronautical correspondent says: When wrecks of enemy fighter ’planes recently destroyed in action were examined, it was found that the ’planes had been delivered from their factories only four or five weeks previously. The U.S. Army Air Force has announced that camouflage is being removed from almost all of its aircraft, except where tactical considerations require .it in combat zones. The removal of the paint will make the fighters twelve to twenty lbs lighter and the bombers seventy to eighty lbs lighter.
