ALLIED SEA ATTACK
Indicated on Burma Front (Rec. 10.10.) LONDON. Dec. 1. German radio quoting a Tokio despatch, stated that there was greatly increased Allied shippine activity reported in the Gulf of Bengal. The Berlin radio added that Japanese circles regarded this as a sign of an impending offensive under Mountbatten, preparations for whicn had taken a sudden lean forward.
