DISASTER FOR JAP DESTROYERS. SYDNEY, Nov. 27. Aerial reconnaissance reports from Admiral Halsey’s advanced headquarters show that all the Japanese destroyers mentioned in General MacArthur’s communique on Thursday were sunk or damaged. Early reports said that four were sunk, one damaged and the sixth escaped, but it .is now believed that the fifth was so badly damaged that it sank latei and the sixth was hit but escaped.
