A public meeting has been convened in the Council Chamoers next Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. for the purpose of forming a deerstalkers' association to control the activities of stalking parties. Members of the W.C.T.U. Westport, paid a visit to Reefton to-day as the guests of the local branch. A combined church service was held in tne St. Stephen’s Church at 10.30. -he visitors were entertained at lunch at Cochrane’s Tea Rooms and during the afternoon held a meet.ng in the Anglican Sunday School.
