WEST COAST MEETING. Over 40 delegates from 11 Institutes attended me half-yearly meeting of the West Coast Federation oi Women’s institutes held yesterday at the Lyceum Hall. ' After the meeting had been opened by the President (Mrs. Johnson), members stood in silence as a mane of respect to tne late Mrs. Hassett. Mrs. Barnicoat, of Wellington, the nonunion President, was present and was welcomed by Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. Baty, also renderea a song.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mrs. Johnson thanked all the delegates for their attendance and the meeting closed with the National Anthem.
