An Enemy Gain JAP REINFORCEMENTS WIPED OUT. (Rec. 9.50) SYDNEY, Oct. 20. In the Finschhafen area of New Guinea, fignting continues. j The Australians have been forced to give some ground near Kitika, where the enemy is in considerable strength. In this area men of the air division have wiped out the last of Japanese troop reinforcements who landed from barges, at the mouth of the Song River, early in the week. More than sixty dead have been counted.
