The Admiralty announces the loss of the destrover, Panther, commanded b-i Lieut-Commander Lord Jocelyn Although only commissioned in December, 1941, Panther took part in the IVtadaaascar, Worth Ail lea and Salerno landings and steamed 100,000 miles, which is believed to be a rerond for a destroyer bu'lt during this war. Commander Jocelyn is among the survivors.
