Land Sales Act FARMERS' UNION LEADER. P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 22. Mr. W. W. Mulholland, Dominion president of the Farmers’ Union, at a meeting of the North Canterbury Executive to-day was questioned by members about the implications ot the Dominion Executive’s request that members should refuse service on land sales committees. Fie said in reply that some members seemed to doubt its advisability. They were obviously concerned lest it should be thought that they refused to assist in the establishment ot the returned men on ithe land. w£ ?! ' not the case.
