AIRMAN CYCLIST KILLED

P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, June 27. . A Leading Aircraftsman of the R.N.Z.A.F. was killed when a motorcycle he was riding collided head-on with a car at Bell Block, about midday on Saturday. The victim was Peter John Clarke, 24, single, whose parents live at Te Aroha. The car was driven by Leading Aircraftsman Gilbert Cleaver. Clarke received severe head injuries. He died immediately. The kite Leading Aircraftman Peter John Clarke’s mother, Mrs. L. Clarke, lives at Te Aroha.
