LUFTWAFFE’S BOMBERS

LONDON ESTIMATE OF STRENGTH. LONDON. June 4. The publication “Aeroplane' estimates Germany’s total bomber force at present as Being somewhat under two thousand planes, with a total bombload capacity of'not more than forty-five hundred tons. To these, it says, there can be added Germany’s force of fighter-bombers, each of I which is capable of carrying only one 550 lb bomb. If the whole of the Luftwaffe, including night-fighters, concentrated on one area, adds the “Aeroplane,” its total bomb-load capacity would not exceed six thousand tons, which would be threehundred tons less than the R.A.F. i dropped in Germany last week.
