PHOTOGRAPHS OF FRANCE TAKEN FROM DOVER.

LONDON, May 17.

Photographs of enemy-occupied territory taken from the cliffs of Dover by a special telescopic camera appear in the “Daily Express,” today. They show, in full detail, the country ten miles inland from the French coast. Churches, houses, military huts, pill-boxes, trenches and other fortifications can be clearly seen. The farthest object was more than thirty miles from the camera, which is ten feet long, and is fitted with heavy infra-red plates. The photographs have great military value.
