[Our Own Correspondent.] High Tides at Westport: . a.m. p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 09.44 10.06 WESTPORT, May 18. Mrs P. Adank has received word that her two brothers, T. F. Champion and B. C. Champion, who have been prisoners of war in Italy for many months, have been repatriated and are now safe in a Middle East base.

Mr G. Sorensen, of Lower Hutt, is visiting relatives in Westport. . Miss M. Trott, Mr Eric Moss and Mr R. T. Bush arrived from Greymouth last night, to act as judges at the Competitions which will commence at the Victoria Theatre this morning. Mrs Wingate, who has been visiting Picton, returned to Westport last week.

The Murchison Committee was granted £5 towards its incidental expenses.
