INVASION SOON?

NOT IMPOSSIBLE SAY GERMANS. LONDON, May 13. The Allies can, and might, invade Europe from Africa, very soon, declared the Berlin radio. During tne African campaign, the Allies repeatedly filled gaps within a few days from the inexhaustible resources at their disposal. The First and Eighth Armies and the Americans will have regained full fighting power within one week at most, whereupon there is no serious reason why the Allies should not use these armies for attack. Even if they were not ready, added the radio, there are huge masses of Allied troops in Algeria, Morocco, and Egypt, from which several invasion corps could be easily, formed. There is nothing to prevent them being immediately embarked from the intact Algerian ports. This, of course, does not mean that such immediate action is definitely expected.
