REFUGEES IN NORTH AFRICA. TO' BE PLACED OUTSIDE ACTIVE WAR ZONE. (Rec. 9.45) LONDON, April 27. . At Hamilton, in Bermuda, a Bri-tish-American conference on refugees has reached a tentative compromise on a plan regarding North African European refugees. This plan, is to re-locate the European refugees temporarily in French North Africa, in Cyrenaica', in portion of Libya and Ln Diredawa, outside of the active war zone. The conference has virtually concluded, except for the preparation of a joint report. A public disclosure of this report may .be delayed for some time to preclude the possibility of premature discussion nullifying proposed steps.
