LEAGUE FOOTBALL
WEST COAST EXECUTIVE. The meeting of the West Coast Rugby League executive last evening was attended by Messrs J. Stokes A. Kyle, W. Meates, L. Hunter, J. Oakley, J. Anisy, and PSweetman (secretary). It was decided to recommend to the N.Z. Council that Mr. _L. Hunter be elected a life member of the N.Z. Rugby League. It was decided to nominate Mr. J. Stokes for the Vice-Presidency of the N.Z. Council. The following senior fixtures for the opening of the season on Sunday were made:— Marist v. Runanga at Runanga, 2.15 (referee, Mr. J. Kidd); Brunner v.
