HARIHARI NOTES

(Our Own Corrasuondent) Mr Wm. Colville has returned after paying a visit to Hokitika. Mr and Mrs W. Berry have arrived home after spending the past few months with their daughter, Mrs A. Gibb, at Christchurch. Mrs R. Cox is paying a visit to the district. Pte. and Mrs H. Schroder and family, Hokitika, were visitors to Harihari during the week. Rev. Father Maguire, parish priest, of Ross will visit here on Sunday next at 11 a.m. Mr B. Dowell paid a visit to Hokitika during the week. Mr Frank Lawson visited Hokitika last week to make final arrangements for the Big Wanganui Bridge Ball which is to take place at the end of this week here. The bridge has been open for traffic since Saturday last. During the past week the workers: made wonderful, progress, the bridge being open sooner than expected.
