APPOINTMENT OP MEDICIAL . SUPERINTENDENT. (Our Own Correspondent.) HOKITIKA, April 2. It is understood that Ministerial approval has been received for the appointment of Dr. David Arnott for the. position of Medical Superintendent of the Westland Hospital in succession to Dr. R. F. Aitken. The appointment now awaits the sanction of the Manpower authorities. - Dr. R. F. Aitken will probably leave .Hokitika towards the end of April (o reside in Kandallah, Wellington. Negotiations are also under way for the selection of a second doctor for the town of Hokitika. and it is likely that something definite will be known’next week.
