WIDE REORGANISATION. (Rec. 11.30.) NEW YORK, March 25. The “Herald Tribune’s” Washington correspondent says:— ; Widespread reorganisation of Th a Army Air Force is expected to follow the recent elevation of General • Arnold to the rank of full General. One of the major moves will be a consolidation of the Air Transport Command, the Air Service Command, and the Material Command into a single unit, thus leaving the combat branch free to concentrate solely on fighting. Major General Oliver Echols will head the new service unit. The consolidation is regarded as a natural result of the tremendous growth ot the air* forces in recent months. The personnel is expected to total nearly two and a half millions by the end of the year..
