WATAROA SALE

At the Wataroa live stock sale on Wednesday there was a total entry of 460 head of cattle, with a representative attendance of buyers from as far north as Toiara Flat. The National Mortgage and Agency Coy. Ltd., report as follows: Tfiere was excellent competition for all lines submitted to auction and practically cne whole of the yarding sold unaer the hammer at very, satisfactory prices. A special feature of the yarding was an entry of 120 attractive Hereford steers and heifers on account W. D. Nolan and Sons, Upper Okuru, as well as other lines from the far south graziers. The firm’s entry . comprised 155 head, a list of the principal sales being as under: — Account Messrs W. D. Nolan and Sons 14 steers lat £l3 17s 6d to £l4 17s 6d, 1 ditto at £l2 2s 6d. 25 heifers at, £l2 7s-6d to £l3 12s 6d: account. Messrs Eggeling Bros. 6 3i-year. steers at £l4 12s 6d, 23 2i-year steers at £8 17s 6d to £lO 12s 6d, 20 25-year heifers at £8 2s 6d to £lO 7s 6d. 3 fat cows at £lO 7s 6d; account W. R.
