Canada states: A heavy explosion, which was apparently caused bv a bomb dropped from an unidentified plane, tore a large crater near the aerodrome cn the outskirts of Charlottetown. It shattered windows over a wide area. Residents said that bomb fragments were found. Nobody was 'niured. , , The Canadian Press states that a Royal Canadian Air Force plane apparently jettisoned the bomb when in difficulties. The Air Force has not yet made a statement.
