AT WOODVILLE TO-DAY. If there is a light weight possi bility in the Flying Handicap at Stratford to-day, it is Viking Path. He knows the track, but may reseive for the County Welter. Full Hand’s second in the Storey Memorial may. be the forerunner of good form. He appears in the Taranaki Cup to-day. High Class has only four pounds extra to carry in the Taranaki Cup than when he won the Marton Cup, in 2 6 2-5. He looks a good prospect for the near future. TE AROHA JOTTINGS. Now that Foxbrae has reached the money, he may carry on in the Waitoa at Te Aroha to-day. The best has not been seen of Hyite and he is due again. Form says that the placed horses in the Waitoa Handicap should from the first six horses on the Te Aroha card. ; The old saying of “top weight” in a /five furlong shows Expanse at the

head of the Juvenile. He’s a good one!

Royal Glory beat Subuedar last Saturday, but he has still to beat Expanse to-day. Still keep an eye on Marble Fox. Gay Lally, who won over a mile last week, is in the big heat on her own; track to-day. Noble Eagle and Bevace both have double engagements—the Shaftsbury Hack and the open six. In the open six, Noble Eagle drops to 7.0 from 9.0.

Kinstep broke the track record to register 1.11 1-5 at Ellerslie at the New Year—she is smart. Airport is as fit as hands pan make him.
