[Our Own Correspondent.) Owing to an unfavourable attend'ance of members of the Swimming Club for a meeting whicn was to have been held at the State School on Wednesday evening, the swimmmg carnival has been postponed till early in the swimming season next year. Pte. R. Braithwaite is spending leave with his parents in Balance S’treet. Corporal W. Kennedy is home on leave. Miv J. Martin, the schoolmaster here, has received notice of his transfer to Dpvedale.
